Hello Friends my name is Andrew McMillan.
I am the CEO and President of The Stocked Pot & Company Cooking School and Retail Store, FunCulinaryTeamBuilding.com, Catering by Simple Elegance and Great Deals On The Web. I take great pride in sharing a lifetime of wonderful culinary experiences with fellow foodies. My travels have taken me around the world, visiting over 28 countries on six continents; including China, France, Italy, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Bali, Luxembourg and Caribbean Island nations, where I enveloped myself in the local lore, customs and cooking traditions. Growing up in a culinary household excited my taste buds and provided me with a strong culinary foundation. In the past I served as manager for two of our family restaurants and a very large catering company, which included menu design, recipe development, beverage management, customer relations and marketing. A very fond memory I have was during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics–the government of South Africa asked us to managed and cater their South African Pavilion. I was in charge of feeding over 400 athletes and support personnel 4 meals a day as well as catering many VIP functions. In addition, Catering by Simple Elegance was Dr. Maya Angelo’s caterer here in Winston Salem NC for many private and celebrity functions. We also worked closely with her on her both of her cookbooks: “Hallelujah! The Welcome Table: A Lifetime of Memories with Recipes” and “Great Food, All Day Long: Cook Splendidly, East Smart”. After her passing, we were privileged to provide her family and friends with a last tribute to her by providing them with a two-day Thanksgiving dinner and celebration of her life. As I reach the ripe old age of 49, I want to share my extensive knowledge of fine wines, beverages and food with you. I hope you will share my love of food when you read this blog. All of my recipes are tested and are from our second- generation family business. I look forward to you coming back again and again for recipes that I am sure you and your loved ones will enjoy.

What type of camera do you use?
Most of the time we use a Canon EOS Rebel T6s D760. Using a 18-55mm lens and a 75-300mm lens. When traveling we use the Canon above and also a Samsung 5S Active.
